3D Steam City

In this exercise I tried to learn to construct the pipes with Bezier curves.
The handles of the tool are quite different from Photoshop's pen tool, and it's much more difficult to work with it in the 3D space.
But once you have a "path" of your pipe around your object, you can fill the stroke to get the thickness of a round pipe.

The City is done with one cube and an arrangement of different (rotated or mirrored) copies of it.

Impressive and looking very complicated Chris.
Very nice window texture on the buildings.

Thanks Ged.
I agree, the image looks complex, but it actually wasn't too difficult to do this one, except for drawing the pipes.

Thank you Eggy.
I'm also happy with the windows...but getting a decent result means trying out many different settings.

Amazing!
I have to start with Blender too.
Sometimes I have to incorporate a 3D element in a composite, no big deal and not essential.
Then I push render and I'm getting depressed...when I see the render time.
