This was an experiment to combine a 3D obj (2 CV from Free3D.com) and two images, a 'wallpaper' and a groundplane

to this, a car passing under a streetlight

And no, no 'lightbeams' from the headlamps. This effect occurs only when the ambient air is 'polluted' with particles like fog, dust ect...

Thanks Chris!

I stead of going to PS after rendering I tried to do all in Blender.
Just as in PS all depends of the images used to 'compose' as long as the 3D object and the groundplane are in the right position.
In Blender there's something like 'shadow catcher' where a neutral groundplane is used to project the shadow of the 3D object on and processed in the compositing section to an alpha plane only retaining the shadow but thats something I have to look in.
