3D Trilogy with Cats

For once I did use some 3D objects from archive 3D to do these images.
The main actor in these series is a cat. (Never tried to sculpt yet).
I spent a lot of time on lighting the scene to create 'backlight'.
I also tried various materials here.

Cat Original black new light x3.jpg
The original cat, positioned 3 times.

Cat new light GreenBlueRed.jpg
Car paint or plastic look.

Cat Nussbaum new light Huhn 1700.jpg
Wood material.

Cat Art Deco 1700.jpg
'Art Deco' style material.

Cat Marmor, Multicolor, Bröckel.jpg
Marble, rusted tin, old concret material.

I look forward for your critique or your suggestions.
Regards
Chris

Very nice Chris!

I love the one with the cats in wood. Love the satin wood grain and the back light!

Great work Chris. I like them all but I really like the cat's in wood. Especially the surface reflection.

Thank you very much guys for your valuable comments. I really appreciate it.
It would be great pleasure for me to tempt some of you into learning Blender.

I'm trying but not getting very far, it's a slow learning curve for me, maybe my brains to old
There's lots of this :bangdesk: and some of this :banghead: and the very odd time some of this :giggle:

Yourself and Lambert do amazing work in Blender and I'm so jealous

Hi Ged,
Just take small steps with Blender, and only when you are in the right mood.
Play around with cubes in different colors, add some donuts, Cylinders or other silly forms.
I mean, do some easy stuff for yourself only, this is much more rewarding then following difficult tutorials.

Regards
Chris
