Help- I am creating a document to print onto transparent bags. I want to create white as a spot colour. I cannot seem to change names if I create an alternative colour. Can anybody help? Thanks

I hope this helps....

Double-click the "White" swatch in the Swatches Panel inside Illustrator.

Change the top dropdown menu to Spot Color:

Click Okay.

Select all the white elements in your piece and ensure they are using that swatch for the stroke/fill color.

Adjusting the Swatch options isn't enough. You'll have to manually reset all the objects using White to this swatch.

........ I'm going out for a while. Give this a try and inform us in this thread if you have problems. Other members will be here to help you out.
