Friend asked if I could make her arm thinner.
As it is just for a snapshot, I did a quick try.
Is it any good? How to improve?

To me it looks like you lost the texture just smudging things over, to obvious. imo, just for devices it'll suffice .printing would look terrible.
Try copying T-shirt area behind her arm enlarge it just a bit and over lay it

it's not meant for printing, just goes on Facebook, she's happy now ;)
But I did not smudge anything, just used a brush and/or clone

No insult intended .. This is what I see on 27 inch monitor looking closely I can see that it wasn't smudged now, but the texture and shadowing is gone

Try the Liquify filter for this operation. You can skinny that arm down and not clone anything.

I selected the part of her arm and used the warp tool, I will try the liquify filter in case I need to do more of this stuff ;)
