I know this thread was originally posted in 2009, but I bought the recently released (2011) version of Corel Painter 12 about a month ago. Liked the interface much more than previous versions, but I had to stop using it and go back to Corel Painter 11 because it was way too crashy. Am waiting for Corel to fix the bugs before I start using the newest version again.

Latest version techniques are really amazing as they are so beneficial for developers and more effective thing is that latest versions introduces many new tools which is really beneficial for the designers as Corel draw's new version is quite amazing and effective as relates to it's results.
