Clipping masks, adjustment layer sliders, locking transparency for color changing

I like your explanation of the clipping mask but I'm not a huge fan of using Hue & Sat adjustment layers as a way for your clients to adjust colors. A much more precise method would be to use a clipped Solid Color Fill layer. The solid color fill layer uses the Color Picker to adjust colors. Precise RGB colors can be typed in and you can adjust the Hue, Saturation, and Brightness by highlighting the value in the associated window and toggling with the directional arrow keys. It's ease of use is the same as the H&S layer, you just double click the layer.
