So I'm using photoshop CS5 and was wondering if you can help me with this problem: When i make an image and make a 3D object out of it and draw on it, how can I get a flat version (not 3D) with the drawing still on it.

When you merge the painted layer(s) to the 3D layer it will become a 2D layer.

If you actually paint on the 3D layer you can select the 3D layer in the layers panel, right click the selection and choose Rasterize 3D layer.
