Hello,

I was hoping if you photoshop geniuses would be able to enhance the attached 2 images. It would be greatly appreciated. I would never be able to do so as I don't have the skills required.

Thanks!

Where's Tom when you need him lol...

We here are more of a discussion forum not a free request forum. But some members do like to have a little practice and help out with freebies.

I am feeling generous today.
If you don't like em, just remember the price.

Hamza - The images you posted are very small (ie, in number of pixels in the horizontal and vertical directions), and they are full of compression artifacts from posting them on this forum. These artifacts just get worse with each time they are posted here -- you've probably already noticed this in the tweaked versions already posted.

In addition, the pixel dimensions are so small that you won't ever get satisfactory prints out of them even if they are otherwise tweaked to perfection, so I have little interest in spending time on something that likely won't ever be used.

However, if you If you have the full resolution files, I'll be happy to take a look at them.

BTW, it's pretty obvious what you don't like about the 2nd image, however, can you state what you don't like about the 1st image?

True Tom, so very true. Both of those files TOGETHER are less than 100kb. No pixels=no data and very poor quality. Many people do not recognize that every time a jpg file is saved it is compressed and loses more quality. Most likely the quality wasn't too good to begin with and with each successive save as a jpg it loses more data and quality. If I am working on a file in PS and need to save it, I save n either the native PS format or tiff. When finished working, and your going to the internet with it, then save as jpg or png.

Thanks everyone for helping out!
Tom - Thanks for that! I thought photoshop could be able to fix that. For the second image I just wanted to enhance the image quality to make it look better, however from what you've said that's not possible due to the image quality. This was taken from my old blackberry, so that's probably the reason. Thanks for the help though, really appreciate it!

It's too bad you don't have higher quality versions to work from, but these tweaks will at least give you an idea of what can be done in a few minutes (if you ignore all the jpg blocks, oversharpening halos, impossible to reconstruct blown highlights, uneven colors, general crunchiness, staircased edges, and other artifacts).
