I am doing a tutorial and after making a full page angle gradient, I am told to click Ctrl +Shift+ U to make it monochromatic. This shows on my layer palette but my workspace image did not change. Can you help me solve this? Thanks..
I have screen shots.

Is this ALL the layers in your layers panel?

Solve what?

Making the contents of the layer 'greyscale' does not affect the 'Gradient Overlay' fx you have applied to it.

If you turn off the 'Gradient Overlay' you'll find the layer will be greyscale.....desaturated.

Regards.
MrTom.
