How to do this triangle effects ?

how can i reach similar effect with another photo by steps ?

Hello and welcome to PSG.

First, I see that there are 5 or 6 different effects that can be seen in the shapes.

I used 5 effects.
So I created 5 copies of my rooftops.
I added effects to each duplicate..........

White.....


Reversed/Inversed...


Color (original)...


Brown.....


Black an White......




Then I added layer mask with shapes.
This is where you would add you rectangles and triangles.





You can also use Clipping Masks for this effect as well.
