Hi,

I want to cutout the necklace in the attached image. I do not know how to use the pen tool and also that it will be impossible to cut with that,

Please help me with a shortcut

Color Range would be the best option, I'd imagine, go to Select > Color Range

When using Color Range, you will need to improve the whites, I would use levels to adjust the image otherwise you will have a hard time making a selection.

(Note: One thing I like to do is place a darker color BG so I can see what is happening.)
