white balance calibration

what is the best method to set the white balance and color balance? take a photo with gray card? gray+white+black ? or with qp201 or macbeth chart?

do I have to set the gray point, white and black point with eyedrop tool?

Are you talking about setting up a custom white balance in your camera of calibrating your monitor with a photo?
I don't understand what you want to accomplish.

i know how to adjust the curves so gray on the photo with a tooth will become the same gray as on the picture with shades. but should i photograph also white and black card or for example some green color to have most precise color matching between pictures?
