How to easily remove tourists from your travel photos?

Step 1 - Set your camera on tripod.
Step 2 - Take a picture about every 10 seconds until you have 15 or more shots.
Step 3 - Open all images in photoshop by going to File>Scripts>Statistics. Choose "median" and select the photos you shot with your camera.
Step 4 - Photoshop finds what is different in the photos and simply removes it.

The results from the image look terrible.

Look at the horizon of the sea and you have sand in the ocean lol
 
Median stacking can be a very good technique. The problem is that this just isn't a very good example of it.

This technique has been popular with advanced amateurs since shortly after the introduction of low priced digital cameras back in the 1990s, and has been very well known to the professional image analysis community for decades before that.

This type of process works well with large structures where the majority of the scene stays the same and just an occasional person or animal walks through the scene.
