I'm printing id badges and when I use photoshop to change the picture I have to resize the photos! When I print the badges the photos printing out with lines thru the face of the photo! Have anyone experienced this? And how can I make the badges print clear?

Do you have a little more info

If you don't change the picture do you get the red lines?
Do you get red lines on other print outs?
What is the make of the printer?

First thing I would suspect is the printer driver - have you got the latest driver for your printer? Have you recently updated your system?

Having a quick look on the web I see that some Epson printers are prone to producing errant red lines (or magenta) if the print head is starting to fail.

Have a look at this post - might not be your problem, but sounds similar.

Best of luck - let us know how you get on.

Oh BTW - welcome to the forum :hi:

Cheers

Also, why don't you post one of your PSD files that exhibits this behavior. You can cover the face of the individual involved to protect privacy, but leave everything else alone. We should then be able to tell you if we find any problems in your file. If it looks good at this point, ie, just before printing, then the problem is almost certainly either with the printer hardware or the printer driver, as suggested by John.

Cheers,
