Best way to clean up this dirty awning?

Am retouching this restaurant exterior but the yellow part of the awning where it says singapore cuisine is absolutely filthy. I've already added a bit of colour and brightness to it which helped, but is there any way to make it look better without spending ages dodging, burning and cloning?

There's really not a super easy way to clean this up, it's going to take a little work on your part.

I don't suggest using the Clone Stamp Tool, I would use the Brush Tool.

Just take a color sample and start brushing. Use a brush set to about 60% hardness and your flow down to around 20%.

Once your done you can adjust the opacity of the layer down.
