I subscribe to creative cloud but infortunately CC doesnt offer the facility to save as dds.
Does anyone know of a free legal CS2 download as I cant bring myself to pay twice.

Maybe should have mentioned I have a macbook pro and not sure that plugin works with this.

I think you can use a GIMP plugin

I agree with gedstar - GIMP is free.

It is a myth that CS2 is free. When Adobe closed down the activation servers they provided access to a downloadable version of CS2 along with a serial number that works for that downloadable version. However you are supposed to have a legitimate right to use it (although it is a bit of an honor system) - it isn't free.

I hear this plugin for photoshop on Macs does the job. I have not tried it myself.
