Image taken with phone (wife), i played with the image and did a stylize/diffuse effect over some colour alterations, got the mood i was looking for but noticed some breaking up of the effect especially over the water, any ideas?

Bumps because i am in the dark.

Were the anomalies there in the original before you made any changes? Was the original cropped down to the size you posted?

Hi Sam, in answer to the questions it's a no to both mate, i just made my alterations and noticed the weird lines within the diffuse effect?

Have you tried making the adjustments in a new, fresh document to see if the anomalies repeat?

It happens with any image when i use the diffuse effect?

Hey Pauly, I would like to see if my Ps does the same thing to that image. If you could upload the original and jot down the settings you've made, I'll give it a try to see what happens.

All i did was make several layers with varying colour additions to the sky and water, then made the diffused layer.
Original image from wife's phone.

OK, thanks. I will see what I can come up with.

Sorry Paul, I've been busy and forgot to post up my version.

I ran the same diffuse filter and as far as I can tell, there is no anomaly.

I'm not sure what to tell you.

Sam your version doesn't look as diffused as my image?
