What is you Fav Movie an Whay

I'll agree with VMcMuff, Pulp Fiction is a great movie. Love the dialog and directing. Tarantino is one of the best at what he does. I also like, (in no particular order): Saving Private Ryan Seven (LOVE this movie) Oceans 11 (I admit it, I'm a big Brad Pitt fan) Smokin' Aces Jackie Brown I'm...

Another before/after color correction...pirate ship at South Padre Island, Texas

Another one from last June. Still trying to figure things out in CS5 and my Intuos4 tablet. :) Before After EDIT: After posting it I realized it's still a bit dark. Needs more work but definitely looks better than the original.

My first image post to PSG.. Before & After

This is a pic of an albino tiger that was taken at the Brownsville zoo last June. It was taken through the glass viewing area but we were just a few feet from it. Just some color correcting. Nothing major yet. Before After

    Question about using my Intuos4

Like I mentioned in my other post, I just got my Intuos4 yesterday. If I wanted to use the lasso tool with my tablet and select, for example, someones hair in an image, is it possible to start tracing the outline of the hair and then pick up the pen and continue tracing in another location...

Got my Intuos4 small yesterday....I have a lot to learn!

Man, I was excited when my tablet came in the mail yesterday. Opened it up and started playing with it. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. I have Scott Kelby's book, "Photoshop CS5 for digital photographers" and I'm using it as a guide to edit some vacation pics from last year...

Will PSG host pics to post in the forum?

I created an album, (haven't put anything in it yet), so that I can post some images of edits to some pictures I took. Will PSG host them or do I need to put them somewhere else and then post them here?

The Hunger Games Poster Composite Using Photoshop CS6 with Tutorial

Wow! That's impressive. Now, if only my dang CS5 upgrade, my book, and my Intuos4 tablet would arrive I could start learning how to do things like that!

    Swing - columpio

See, that's the kind of stuff I eventually want to be able to do in PS! Very well done! Some reason it reminds me of that movie "The Ring". I think that's the one, right?

Using lifted photos to practice with?

Gotcha! Just wanted to make sure prior to breaking any rules.

Using lifted photos to practice with?

Before I jump in and start working with PS I have a question. What is the general consensus of using images from the internet to work with? Is there a certain etiquette to follow if using a generic photo from another site? What about a "stock" photo that doesn't list the actual photographers...

    Using a tablet/pen in PS?

Thanks for the replies guys. I just ordered a Wacom Intuos 4 small a few minutes ago. Now, as soon as my CS5 upgrade, my book, and my Intuos get here I'll be set!

    Using a tablet/pen in PS?

I've been considering getting one of the Wacom Intuos4 or 5 small tablets to use while working in PS. I'm just curious as to how many of you guys use one while working? From what I've read they really make editing and, just working in PS in general, much easier. Thoughts? Input?
