Hello (also, can't hit enter?)

Hey, everyone: Joined the site to create a massive, long post about the techniques, process, and ideas behind 100s photoshops I have been making for a few years-- and looking for feedback. A problem I've already run into is that I can't hit enter when typing.... I'm assuming this is a problem with my browser missing an update?, or is there a simple solution?

So just to be clear, what your really trying to say is that your enter/return key is not working....right?

Yes. No idea why. I am running IE on Windows 8.
