Hi, how are you doing? I have given my header a #000 background, and I wanted to give it background image, a gradient-grey-down.png, to be exact. I know this is probably something simple, but I'm stuck. Can anyone help this novice Photoshop wannabe?

Thank you...:p

Hi mooapo

If you upload an image, of what you need it done, it will help us to give some ideas.

Bcause i'm not really sure if you need help whit how to put an image on your background, or you are referring to a gradient/transparent background on your header..

Hi, and thank you for your reply.... You are right, I am referring to a grey-down gradient/transparent image for my Black background header. I do have an idea, but don't know what color of gray to use. I'm not a pro at Photoshop, so I don't even know if I'm doing it right.

In my attempt, I created a transparent layer, and the I use gradient toll and pulled down and that was it. It looks OK, but I don't know if i did it right.
