How to make this background

If you have a look here productplanner.com you'll see the background has a slight grain effect to it, does anyone know how I could get that look as my gradients need something mixed in it so it doesn't look too boring.

use a gradient and lower the layer opacity. all though seems a bit pointless as it is so subtle.

View attachment 11721There is a grain though, which you can add by going to Filtter/Noise/Add Noise, make sure it is set on the Gaussian setting, and just alter the percentage.

I would do this on a copy of your Gradient layer, then go to blending options and choose overlay.
