Yes, Clare is right. I figured the light source was intentional and originating somewhere else other than the setting sun behind the subject. She is also right that it would generate secondary shadow coming forward. But like the perspective, it's a trivial issue.

Here is what I was referring to about the transition from the BG ice field and the ice in the FG.

I'm going to fix the shadows, thank you clare and sam!

And thank you chrisix, the arm will be more orangy.

But for now, I think my noobism is coming trough or it is way to early to ps... the smudge tool right? But when I try it I can't get rid of the edge no matter how hard i smudge it (that sounds kind of dirty...)

edit: forget it, too early, found it.
