OK, I was going to say the same thing as Inkz. More info please. Your attempt gives more info, so thanks.

My critique is that I like the drop, though it looks kind of familiar, not unique enough, but I could be way wrong. Also, if that is the logo design then the text should be smaller so it doesn't overwhelm the design. IMHO.

Yes, I see what you're doing. Only now you have two logo icons incorporated. It is really hard to edit and throw away unworkable to come up with sharp, simple, and elegant. Look at some of my work! Gears or drop, one or the other. Otherwise, I believe it gets gimmicky, besides which, a coporate logo has to say the company identity in one recognizable glance. This takes two.

Matt, here's a rush and rough idea of what I mean. (dogwalk overdue) I chose the gear, though I like your substitution of the "o" with the globe, but it makes me think ATT&T.

One thing that doesn't work for me is the font for the x64bit. It's too chunky, has weird and distracting angles, and the kearning doesn't look right. Also, line up your text so that it comes out to the end of the T. Not always necessary, but in a polished logo it is, IMO. I changed the size of "solutions" - squashed it to make it secondary. There just has to be one line of text which grabs the eye first; back to that quick glance.

You need Inkz or one of the other logo specialists like f5designstudios to give you some feedback.

Hey Aunty..

Just sitting on the sidelines on this one. Seeing what you come up with lol. But I really like what you've done above. I feel having a logo image and a wordmark is too much. One focal point is enough.

Simpler and clean. I like it and it doesn't make me think of ATT&T anymore. Combines the droplet and swirl effect into a new shape.

Matt, sometimes, you just have to make another idea or mess with the one you've got. Like I said, I know all too well what it means to discard elements that I feel attached to from my painting, writing, and digital work. I strive to simplify!
