whats the difference between Photoshop cc & Photoshop CC 2014?? Any idea?? its confusing .Why so many releases with in short span?? Any one can explain it please ??

Also, you will find that when installing CC 2014, it is a totally application than the previous CC. I got confused when I downloaded and installed it, I couldn't see any obvious changes in the version I had! LOL..upon further investigation, it had not placed a shortcut on my desktop as I was used to seeing. Dumb me. But all is good with it, works well and it has since had a major upgrade just a couple of weeks ago.
