Hi! I am trying to achieve this effect with a cloud picture. I know that the cloud picture is reflected but other than that I am not sure how the effect is done... Does anybody know how this is done? Thanks in advance! =)

Shift Red chanel to the right.

Double width of image.jpg
Double the width size of the image.

Select the cloud image and copy/paste it on a new layer. Flip the layer horizontally.

Just to add a little to Chris's suggestion.

This is how you can move the red channel.

Open your Channels Panel. Go to Window > Channels.

Select the Move Tool.

Hit cmd/cntrl + A to select all. (Select > All)
Click on the Red channel in the channels panel.
Use your directional arrow keys and move the channel to the right.
You can click back and forth between the red channel and the RGB channel to view your progress. (depends on your preference settings for viewing channels)

When done moving, click on the RGB channel.
Hit cmd/cntrl + D to deselect.

Go back to your layers panel.

You will have a slight anomaly at the edge of the image. You can crop this out now or later with the Crop Tool.

Go to Image > Canvas Size.....
Double the width.

Duplicate the image. Flip. And position.

You may have to clean up some in the center.

Thank you so much for the replies and explanation! One more question though..if you see the picture I posted, you can see a tint of a pinkish color and a lighter blue mixed in with the cloud effects...I would like to know how that part is made as well...Thank you in advance! =)
