How to make this Batman logo?

I really need your help in making the attached batman logo. I can find a batman logo easily. However I'm not sure how I can make the black fading/patch effect as attached.


I'm designing for priniting on T-shirts.
Hope some1 can help me

This is effect is easy to achieve. Google for;

photoshop free grunge brush download

there are lots of them around. Download one or more grunge brush sets, extract them to your Brushes directory;

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Presets\Brushes

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Presets\Brushes

depending on your version of Photoshop and Windows, select the eraser tool, select a grunge brush, adjust the brush size, rotation, opacity as required and grunge up the logo.
