I am currently working on a comic poster design. And im in the phase of colouring however i dont want to go over any black. Is there a way to do this other than "select>colour range>black>select>inverse" ?

Thanks

If it's a black-white drawing then I always make a copy of the layer
and place it on top with mode 'darken' or 'multiply'

the coloring is on the layer below
and the black lines will always stay black

Several.

Which one really depends on what you've done so far and more importantly how.

Take a screen shot of your UI making sure to include important details like the layers panel.

Or just do what colleague says since he's just beaten me to it...LOL.

Regards.
