how can i create this kind of screen crack effect?

Dear all,

i have been trying to achieve screen crack effect but i unable to achieve the result.

This is the image i edit:

The sample photo i wish to achieve:

how can i achieve this kind of hi resolution crack screen overlay with the subject? anyone can advise me. kindly appreciate.

Take your original image...
Screen Shot 2016-01-27 at 10.34.18 PM.png

In the same document, open any broken glass texture that you would like to use.
Position where you want it.

Set the broken glass layers blending mode to screen.

I did that to set to screen but the outcome is not the result that i want. could it be something i miss out? Its like i seen other photo their glass looks more like a glass broken. like the photo i mention compare to mine.

I think it has more to do with the quality of the broken glass image than anything. The higher the quality and resolution, the better the effect.

Thanks for the help appreciate it. i will go and look for better quality currently can't seem to find any good one. once again thanks.
