making rust on car

Hello everybody,

I need a little help?!

See the picture of the Camaro !
what is the best way to make this? does any one have some tips or trick?

Hi Rene1975 and Welcome to PSG

What you could do is to find a suitable rust texture image from Google and apply it as a Layer Mask to the car

First open up your car image and make a selection of the frame of the car, I saved the selection for handiness so I could reload the selection again
Then open up your rust texture image and copy and past it into the main window, place the image on top of the car image, load your selection of the frame again by going to Select and Load Selection
Then click on the rust texture image and click on the Add Layer Mask Icon at the bottom of the Layer Panel, I changed the Blend Mode of the rust texture image to Color Burn

In addition to what gedstar suggested you can also use the 'advanced blending options' by double clicking on an empty space in the rust layer.
