Sometimes you add effects to a layer, then you decide you don't need them. You can uncheck them or click the eyeball..but the effects always show in the layer list. This clutters things.

Is there no way to "remove" them completely?

Thanks in advance.

(Edit: Oh my. I looked for a long time, of course when I finally break down and make a post, right after I find that if you select the "No Style" from layer styles it removes them....sorry!!!!)

Just click and drag the FX icon to the trash can.

You can also right click in the body of the layer and select "clear layer style"

You can also drag any single effect from the list to the bin if you don't want to delete them all.

Regards.
