Hi all,

i am about to buy a new kitchen and wanted to make a special kitchen backsplash.
Now cause i am not finding this particular picture on the internet i was wondering if there was some easy way of creating it myself..

I think it only consists of tiles with a abstract pattern on them and a shadow..

This is the picture i'm talking about

Any tips or links to tutorials would be appreciated.

Thx in advance.

Looks like the entire pattern consists of two tile designs. I would draw one of each and just start copying layers!!!

As AM stated, this is just two tiles.
Here is a quick tutorial on how you could go about doing this.

Open a new document with squared dimensions.
Use your guide lines to plan your pattern on your tile.

On a new layer, use one of your selection tools to create one half of your pattern.
Here, I used the Elliptical Marquis Tool.

Select your Brush Tool.
Use a large soft brush with a lowered flow to create the shading at the top of the tile.

Shift + Command + I to invert your selection.
Use the Brush Tool to again add in the shading.

Command + D to deselect.
Command + J to duplicate the layer.
Command + T to enter Free Transform.
Flip Verticle.
Grab your Move Tool and move the flipped layer into position.
Turn off your guides.

Select/Highlight the top layer.
Hit Shift + Option + Command + E to create a Stamp Visible layer.
Turn off other layers.
