How to color highlights?

Hey photoshop wizards,
Do you have any idea how can I colour highlights in images like these examples:

I used this picture and made a bend in it using the warp tool

Make a new layer on top, draw a white rectangle in overlay mode (depending on the image experiment with other blend modes) apply a layer mask and brush away the hard edges with a soft large brush.

This is to create the reflection.

You can use a flat picture but the reflection needs to be credible.

Note: this was a quick job, you need to experiment with the reflection...

Thanks but I asked something different - how do I put colour instead of the highlights? like in the examples the highlights (most bright areas of the image) are yellow.
