I am watching a speed painting and i notice something in the layer panel. The layer size of the layer he/she is using are not the same. Can you please tell me what is the difference between this type of layer from a normal layer? how can you create this type of layer?

Hi Sakuya

In the Layer Panel Options, there is a checkbox option under the Thumbnail Contents section named "Layer Bounds". If this checkbox is marked, the thumnail only shows the part of the Layer that is within the bounds of the Layer (e.g. the non-transparent portions even though i am sure there is a more formal definition).

Note that the aspect ratio of each one pretty much matches the painted area for that Layer

Hope that helps
