Need Help with Layer Functions

Hi. I'm an experienced CS5 user, but haven't been able to figure this one out... I have a layer and I apply a function to it, such as drop shadow (or bevel, etc.). Then I add a different layer where I also apply a drop shadow. The problem is that if I attempt to change the angle or other settings of the drop shadow in the new layer, it also affects the other layers below that have a drop shadow. How can I turn this off? If I apply a function to a layer, I want to be able to adjust the settings of the function for that layer only, independently of any other layers that may have the same function.

Hey Rich,

Try turning off "Use Global Light".

So sorry, I have to bolt so I won't see your reply if you have one, hope it works!
