In the image attached, I have a MAC with the latest OS Yosemite hooked up via mini Display port to a Dell on 2550 x 1440 and this massive grey bit at the bottom is unusable in photoshop, see attached image. Is there a setting I have missed?Even after I zoom in that bit doesnt expand, and nothing changes in all 3 screen modes, all help is appreciated

Hi TDC and welcome to PSG.

I have never seen this before. Can you post a screen shot of your 'window' dropdown menu.

Have you tried resetting your preferences?

Start Photoshop and immediately hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X).
Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
