How to add that silver moonlight to an image?

Looks great, Eggy. Well, thank you all. I will see what I come up with. Problem is, I actually also like the image the way it is. But thanks again.

How to add that silver moonlight to an image?

Argos, realistic was the wrong word to use. Yours it actually quite realistic. Now I have even confused myself a bit about what I’m after. Guess I would like to be able to create that moonlit atmosphere you typically would see in fantasymovies like Lord of the Rings kinda stuff. Maybe if I add...

How to add that silver moonlight to an image?

Argos, what you have done is more or less what I’m after, and also have done, just not to the image I uploaded. But I just wanted to know if there was some way to do it to make it as realistic as possible.

How to add that silver moonlight to an image?

You played with the cooling filters, right? Tried that myself. Well, the one in the middle is somewhat what I’m going for, but there must be a better way.

How to add that silver moonlight to an image?

I was out yesterday at night and had the great super moon in my back. The light from the moon doesn’t really show on my image, how can I fake moonlight?

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

Found out how to save it as a mp4, but now instagram says the video has to be at least 3 secs long. Mine ain’t. But that does not matter, I’m just more interested to find out how to set the best resolution

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

I turned it from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080 which made it a 6mb file instead of 28mb. But again, how will I know the sweetspot, the best resolution to save the gif?

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

Well, it's a .gif. I just wanted as big a resolution I could and still have PS allow me to save the file. The file runs great on facebook, but not on instagram or my iPhone 7 plus. I'm not sure what I set the resolution to, but I guess making it a much lower resolution won't lower quality much...

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

It's 28mb, can't even find a host which allows that much. And when I upload to youtube, it says it's an image...does youtube read gifs as imagefiles?

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

How do I upload them to this site? Do I need to upload them to youtube and then place a link here?

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

Thanks for answering. Well, for now it’s mostly about exporting. I find a hard to find a resolution which looks as good as possible and not being too heavy so that I can’t save it. Sometimes even though I am able to save them, I can’t really use them on instagram or on my phone because they lag...

    Cinemagraphs, any experts here?

First, what is the correct under-forum to post cinemagraph-questions? And, are there any experts in that technique here? I find it hard to find people to talk to about cinemagraphs. Can’t even find a desent facebookgroup. I like to create them myself but am only a rookie. But I really want to...

    Q about cinemagraphs

Oh, of cause, I would have to erase the mask for every single frame where the gull is leaving the mask. Maybe it could work. How do I skip just one frame at a time? I?m totally new to editing video.

    Q about cinemagraphs

Hmm, but when the gull is leaving the frame, the mask would still be there, left behind, so to speak, wouldn?t it, making the waves movement show.

    Q about cinemagraphs

I've tried creating a couple of cinemagraphs, it ain't that hard, but I've got a little question, though. I think I do know the answer myself, as I think it may not be possible, but here goes anyway. Let's say I'm filming the ocean. A seagull flies by at waterlevel. I then would like to freeze...
