Remove shadow from this pic if possible please

This is far from being a perfect correction but it should point you toward the right path. A single curve layer is used. I created a mask over the camera shadow Then Layer style adjusted what was left using blend if (under lying layer slider used do not forget to feather that blend if)

I created an action t make luminosity masks on the fly

That is not acceptable. The questions and requests are specific to one user, not to the majority of the board, same as folks asking for help creating lettering and stuff of this sort. When one asks a question or guidance it makes no sense to answer for 'the greater good'. Sorry but your...

I created an action t make luminosity masks on the fly

For one I create actions, not plug ins. I am not a programmer and I am not paid to do anything. I create these actions (and a few other since) for my own use and share then freely. As I mentioned, similar rigid action sets are sold by many photographers. Mine are simpler, free and fully...

I created an action t make luminosity masks on the fly

I just did not like the way luminosity masks were made and the complexity and repetition of the steps involved. :frown: So... I looked at pre-made luminosity masks and found out they are all the same, marketed differently and frankly not worth the $$$. I looked at different techniques...

    Learning photo shop

I request an opinion, not an apology!!! Yours is complete and honest so what can I say? Thanks. As to the grammar/spelling I am well aware of it as well as missed words. The tone maybe off for someone who knows the program. Personally when I was reading 'instruction' books on the subject...

How to customize a brush so that it...

Thank you for your answers. I feared that... Beside brushes is there any other way you can think of? Just a hint might make me run into a new direction where i would learn more by experimenting... Not that I am a photographer so my thinking can be limited.

    Shape text into a bowtie

I just saw a very annoying tutorial on that... Annoying because of the narrator, not the purpose... I will look for it and post the link... May take me some time.

How to customize a brush so that it...

Well.. I am able to create my own customizable brushes BUT I want more, WAY more. I want a brush capable of picking up a pixel or a few and transform it/them into a bokeh, JUST WHERE they are. The only tutorials I found are about making brushes, customizing them to do what ever but they...

    Many photoshop e-books avalable here

I have no clue as there are many as many bibles as there are programs. In any case, for a newbie like me, this is a source of information that may prevent me to ask stupid questions...

    C&C

It is indeed a tree top also on the corner of the roof. I let them 'grow' to add realism to the sky as I have learned that perspective is important when modifying the sky... Now the real problem is the selection mask as I completely missed some parts. :banghead:

    C&C

No, that is not it, I did not work on saturation at all. I worked with channels to gain back details in both highlights and black areas. The problem I have is in making selections (the simplest thing AH!). When comparing images, I usually do it with two images and flip them with ACDSee or...
