    Specific Tune Squad Edit #62

If it's an option I prefer OTF, it has more features. However, I hardly ever take advantage of those features myself so I don't worry if OTF is not an option an I will go with the TTF.

Gurus can you tell me what this effect is called and how to make it ?

This would be dependent on the tool(s) used for the selection process and refinement. This is stuff that we have covered in the past, do I need to explain further? I will if needed. Well....based on your reference to "brushing" and the fact that you have used layer masking in your PSD, I can...

Gurus can you tell me what this effect is called and how to make it ?

Hey Zoe. There would be several ways to accomplish this effect. You already had one way. All you needed to do was move one layer over a bit.

@ex_teacher - Hey. There's some oddities happening here that may need to be addressed.

How to make my images look like this.....

Just to add to Chris's response, you need a low contrast black and white image to start off with. A Ps shortcut to invert is Cmd/Cntrl + I. You can also augment with a curves layer.

    Animated Rain

Don't give up. I'm not trying to be anything other than helpful. I deeply apologize if you feel like I'm not. I'm sorry, but the two images you uploaded above don't make sense for me. I still see the animated rain on the girls arm/shoulder/back....................that should not be there if you...

    blue fire

Sorry, got called away. The main solution is to return the layer to "Normal" blending mode. And try to adjust the fire selection. (I used channels and a layer mask here) This is really fast so not that great. However, I fear the best solution would be to start over with your fire...

    blue fire

Yes. As long as you have the "blue fire" layer(s) in Screen blending mode, the fire will appear white.

    blue fire

Hello and welcome. One way would be to just duplicate the "blue fire" layer. You can adjust the opacity of the duplicated layer to taste.

    Animated Rain

OK. The following screenshots are just an example, it's only meant to demonstrate the size disparity and not to be done when actually using these documents to make the GIF you are wanting. This has already been discussed. You are not understanding that that the original "Left, Right, Middle...

Help to make a text effect

Hey. One of the main reasons that your question is hard to answer is because there are virtually hundreds of thousands (if not more!) possible variations and ways you can customize a layer style. It would be a challenge, if not impossible, to try and figure out what the guy used in the example...

    Animated Rain

OK...........here's how I'm resizing. The PSB file (Rain Left.psb) is open. Here I have made my modifications by adding the background/lights to the smart object layer, and then the window layer, curtains layer, and the girl image layers. Full size 3000px x 2000px. Now I use image size to...

    Animated Rain

No. DO NOT duplicate the window layer, curtains layer, and the girl image layer! You have to click on each frame in the timeline. Note that the window, curtains, and the girl only appear in the first frame. You will see that when you have the first frame selected, the window layer, curtains...
