    Help! I, without realising, added a "New Layer Based Slice" to my image earlier, and have closed/saved and re-opened since then. Now I can't get rid of it. It's going all funkeh when I save the image, saving it in sections of white space etc. :( Cheers for any help. :) Dom

    Hi Meehoo. Thank-you kindly for taking the time to reply in such detail, much appreciated :) I had another go at this earlier today, using the Guides and the Pen Tool (what a crazy thing that is!) and came up with the below. It's not perfect for what I was aiming for, but near enough :)...

    Ok, this is the one thing I've always had trouble doing. Square, round, triangle, etc, it's all easy enough, especially now in Photoshop with those wonderful guides. BUT. I've always had a problem making quirky or non-regular shapes. I can do most other things, but always struggled with...

    Ok, I must be being really thick here, coz I can't seem to Skew a line like that! :( I need to curve it as above. I drew it with the line tool. Tried to skew, but it'll only go up/down (on one side) so not the desired effect. Tried rasterizing first as well, but made no difference. I...

    You can merge a layer with the one directly beneath it using Ctrl/Cmd + E Move the layers till the 6/7 you want deleting are all beneath eachother, then Ctrl + E them all together. And delete :) Alternatively, you could just turn off the "eye" on ones you want to keep, then Merge Visible...

    Howdi all. I've been here a coupld of weeks, but just thought I'd post quickly to say hi in this thread, as I am still a n00b [innocent] Most of you have probably already seen me around, mostly in the Show Board and Campfire forums. Great forums btw peeps. A great bunch, I feel at home...
