    save optimised as....

You can't. :D You'll need to use ImageReady. Just open the file into IR and at the top of the document window click the "Optimize" tab. Then look on the rightside for your Optimize palette. Experiment with changing the palette size (Palette Table). You can check the new file size by looking...

turning a photo of someone into a "Bratz" doll

Ok initial go at this. I may have gone too far in a certain direction. [honesty] There are tweaks to be had here of course. I didn't go "all out" with the details. (like the eye lashes could be lengthened to match the dolls) But this should get one off to a ripping start i'd imagine.

turning a photo of someone into a "Bratz" doll

Ok well it sound like you have all the 'requirements' to do this so... let's see what we can make happen. The closeup shot will work best.

turning a photo of someone into a "Bratz" doll

I agree... this IS possible, with a decent quality and size photo to work with. It IS however going to take a good amount of work to do. I immmediately see 3 main things that'll need to be done to the face: 1) Increasing eye size and shape 2) shrinking the nose down next to nothing 3) Heavily...

Just curious here... are you a formar member Doodad? Wendy hasn't posted in ions, and that specific thread has been 'burried' for a long time. (well over a year) It IS however still around. ;) Here's a list of threads from the "Photoshop general" board i searched out...

    chocolate man

That's going to be very difficult, i don't mind saying. Specifically getting it as close to Elton as i think you'd like. Reason is, because it's going to take some manual tweaking to pull off, and you can't record that kind of thing in an Action. But i'm interested to see what folks here come...

Need help with a resizing action

Hi Gary... Gary once you size the photos down to that size and resolution, using "Save for Web" becomes feasible. PS shouldn't give you any grief about that then. I'd suggest though that you stick to standards for resolution and go with 96 for PC 72 for Mac. Depending on which one the coach...

fast way to make curved lines????

The Pen Tool montreal. In the Toolbar it's near the bottom left side, and looks like a quill pen. You use it pretty much the same way as you do in AI. Difference is that to stroke your path in PS, just right-click the canvas and choose "Stroke Path...". Before doing this however, you should...

    Problems after uploading

yes there is a javascript file Franz, you just have to get it and upload it to the same folder that your pages are in. You will find this file here on your hard drive: C:/Documents and Settings/Franz/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe GoLive/Settings/JScripts/GlobalScripts/CSScriptLib.js If you...

Yup! :D That assumes of course that you've put your javascript file in your root directory with all your html files. ;)

Piece of cake Franz. If you check the header section of your code again you'll notice this line, pointing to your javascript file: file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Franz/Application%20Data/Adobe/Adobe%20GoLive/Settings8/JScripts/GlobalScripts/CSScriptLib.js This means that the browser is...

    clown a person

Hey koko... I did this up fairly quick-like just so you could understand the basics of this effect. But it's enough to make things clear, i hope. ;) It's not as hard as one might think actually. There's pretty much just a few small steps that need to be done. 1st: enter Quick Mask mode (press...
