    Fixing an old photo

Excellent restoration Gedstar. The details are really clear for a photo that age, now. Any one thought of colorizing it? Have a good one. Mark (aka theKeeper)...

    liquid color areas

Not sure if you're still looking for this solution Ninanoki, but here's a method i use to obtain the effect you're after. It's fairly simple and a bit fun to play around with. - Open your photo and immediately convert it it to a Smart Object. - Use the Gaussian Blur filter and apply a very...

    Deseparately need help!!!!

That was a pretty decent job Eggy considering the source file incompatibility. Right on. Just a little tip, in case it's escaped your skillful eye or anyone else may want to know... under the IMAGE menu > Adjustments > Shadows/Highlights filter. Try that to nullify/nuetralize the...

    Help Needed! Super overexposed photo

Hi Guys. I'm afraid this kind of situation is virtually impossible to recover from; unfortunately. You simply can not put 'back' what was never 'there'. These are great attempts though to at least try to make the photo acceptable again. Nice work all. I had a go also. After trying various...

Happy New Year everyone! Wow we've had a pretty decent turnout here i like it! Everyone's put some really nice effort into their designs. Your efforts are much appreciated. Thank you! :) And now, with the aid of my 2 sick little helpers, we've come to a final judging on the 1st 2nd & 3rd...

    New Intro

No worries mate. I'm sure it'll get moved in due time. :) It is kind of a 3D-ish effect anyway. So it's not like it's completely out-of-place in here. :)

    New Intro

Re: New into! Oh really? LOL well... isn't this the "3D Program" forum? That was why i assumed you used a 3D app for this artwork. ;) You used After Effects then? If so, very impressive.

I Need Help with some animation using clipping mask :(

Yes, that's what happens when you export a Gif animation; the frames get compiled into one. I use IrfanView to load Gifs as separate frames, but even that won't help you to see how it was created. That data lies only within the source file.

Saving sliced .psd for web use...optimizing for ALL web browsers

It's not a big deal Alex. Your letter will look exactly the same. And xhtml has nothing to do with CSS. You can still use that doc type. Just change the CSS formatting to html tables instead. Try it, see how it works, and let me know. PS: if you could find out the system and email client...

Welcome egosbar. Hope you enjoy your stay here. Have some fun and feel free to partake in some conversation. You don't have to be a Guru to do that around here. ;) Look forward to seeing some of your work in the future. Cya round! Mark (aka theKeeper)...

I Need Help with some animation using clipping mask :(

Hi Tibbz. First off, that's a nice animation. Second... it appears to me that the artist simply animated the visibility of a layer mask over the hidden image. So by creating the various stages of visibility of the hidden image, with layer masks, using separate layers for each stage of...

    Black and White photo restoration

Very nice work chitkaran. I really like the bold red colour choice for the shirt. That really helps match the message/vibe given by the word on the shirt. That plus the slightly pale complexion shows a nice attention to detail there. ;) Keep up the good work. Mark...

Saving sliced .psd for web use...optimizing for ALL web browsers

Hi Alex. That's a fairly open-ended topic i'm afraid. There's no sure-fire way to make sure that everyone receiving that letter will have their system/email client setup to see the letter exactly as you intended. Not even the magical CSS formatting can promise that. You would probably do...

11x14' in 12x18 paper help please!

Hi chicleacido... That's quite a conundrum my friend. hmm... I'd normally say that if you just don't have access to a printer that prints that size, your client is simply out of luck. Unless he wants to order his prints online. On the OTHER hand... You may be able to fix this yet. Would you...

    CS4 help

Not too sure i can help shed any light on this topic, as i don't use the RAW format myself. But a little Googling found this photographer forum where this topic was talked about.
