    The issue with not being able to open in photoshop was because the images are in " index " mode. They need to be set to RGB color in the Image > Mode > RGB color. Then you can open the create frame animation tab.

    What the OP is asking is if there is a easy way to mass remove the backgrounds for 100+ pictures...because each image is different it will be difficult and they have to be traced one by one. I will suggest taking the pictures with a green screen. Green screen and good light

    @IamSam is it me or your image is fussy around the black stroke? I got more of a sharper stroke.

    Ok I think I got a solution for you, here we go. If you fold it in half you'll have both rulers. I measured against an actual calibrated ruler I have and its within 99.2 % acuarte.

    Water is now blue and nice along with improvements to the colors and small details all the way around and also you have a nicer smile.
