Corners not smooth when reducing image size

Hi All

I'm designing icons for a mobile website. Now the icons are 32x32. I design them on 300x300, so that I can see better, can't really design on low pixel canvas right? Anyways, I use a 60px border for my rounded corners. When I reduce the size of the icon from 300x300 to 32x32 , using both Bicubic(best for reduction) and Bicubic(best for smooth gradients), the corners are not perfectly round/smooth when viewed on a mobile phone, or even just on the PC. The corners pixelate. How do I fix that?

Can you post the two images here (the one with 300*300 and the other of 32*32) so that we could help you out a bit better !!

As you can see, the corners of the small image are not rendered smooth. They are pixelated

when you look at them in actual size they look fine

Like iDad says, don't zoom into it. You won't be using it at that size.

The normal size will look just fine.

Or maybe try to make a vector mask over the main outline?
