How to make this type of avatar

Hello,

i need to make this type of cartoon avatar of myself, can anyone help me with a tut, software or related.

Its basically a caricature or drawing, shrunk down to acceptible avatar size. PS, Illustrator, Corel Draw even MSPaint in your com can do this.

can you plase point me to any tutorial for this

Play around with Filter --> Artistic --> Poster Edges and then Filter --> Artistic --> Cut Out, you can also try adding some brightness/contrast adjustments.

If you would like more specific help, post up the pic you want to start with.

When searching for tutorials, try some things like "cartoonize" and "photo to cartoon" etc.
