Hello guys, in my cs4 packet is 'adobe dreamweaver' (ya all know what that is :D) and I think its really interesting to take a look at it but this subforum is a little bit chaotic, wouldn't it be much easier if there was a sticky for 'beginners' (or guys that know from nothing) where we can read what dreamweaver is, how to get started and further tips and so on

Just askin'

with kind regards

dreamweaver is a very complex program and takes a long time to learn and study to even open it up and understand any of it I would expect you to know the basics of website designing and development. there are plenty of resources on the web and in books to learn it slowly but if you are interested in website developent I would highly recomend doing a proper course with qualified instructers

i actually have a burning (hehe) question: i followed a couple of tutorials and have made an easy web page (offline duuh) in preview on firefox everything works normal , if i want to bring this online, do i need to pay for it? is there a way that I can not pay for it, have advertisement and NO mywebsitehere.websitedealer.com for example

@Burned Ice:- Yes and no, it depends on where are you hosting your site, some hosts are free but some are not. mostly if you want your site to be an independent domain(mynewbiesite.com) you will have to pay for it. As for the second part of your question, the answer is yes, you can actually pay for your site from ads and gain some money too, but that's not guaranteed.
