Can any one please assist me to modify a splash screen for my Kenwood Car radio. I have tried but the image either gets blown out of proportion, or is upside down.
The following specs is crucial to get the image perfect.
I loaded 2 jpeg files, any one of the two would be great but if have to choose i would like the Chevrolet logo with black background.
Requirements include:
1. Picture does need to be crushed during finalisation, from 921*480 to 800 *480, as it will get expanded when loaded
2. You need to use a dedicated image processing application such as Photoshop in order to be able to make the right settings and save in the correct format.
3. Save as 16 bit Full Colour BMP and the setting of RGB of R5,G6,B5 is very important
4. Windows Applications like Paint cannot be used to make the BMP as the settings for the RGB and picture crushing cannot be done with that application.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it, as i ruined the factory splash screen.
