I am hoping the good people on here can guide me in the right direction. I have been using Photoshop for many years and just recently changed from my old laptop to a desktop. I downloaded the software from Adobe, installed it, and it starts up fine. PROBLEM: after doing some editing I go to save my work, I either get a message saying I do not have enough RAM, or it will go through the steps of saving and then Photoshop shuts down! When I go back and open the file again, no changes were saved at all! Frustrating after working on a project some time only to have NOTHING actually saved.
I tried to get help on the Official Adobe Forum, but it is literally shaking and will not open at all.

Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by this? Shaking? You should be able to access Adobe Forums via your web-browser. What did they say at Adobe?
