PS CC 2019 opening documents.

PS CC 2019 opens the template window everytime I click on an image or try to open it from within PS. Then from the template window...

And then whether I click on a template or create it opens up another template. In other words, I cant open images now in ps. Ijust end up with a bunch of blank templates no matter what I do. Please advise. thank you in advance

Then tick or check "Disable the Home Screen".
