what's the the shortcut to go from the type tool to the move tool?... I would assume that's if it exist, it would be a key combination but I've tried everything I could think of...

you don't need a combination. just type the letter that corresponds to the tool. click and hold your cursor on the tool and it will show the letter that calls it up.

unless there's some other type of shortcut . . . IDK

Guess I'm no being too clear...U Can't hit V while ur using the type tool, it will just type the letter v, won't switch to the move tool...it would have to be a combination....
 
if you want to move the text around, point the cursor at the very end of the line fo text and that will move it. O/W why switch tools ... but if that's what u need to do, then that's how.
